The elementary (beginners) course is open to the public for enrolment
in December each year. The new term commences from mid-January.

New Classes
For information on classes commencing from 9 January 2012, please refer to "Annual Intake" below. Registration is open in mid-Dec. Vacancies are limited.
Students who passed the final exam will be awarded with certificate
from the JCS Japanese Language School. Certificates of merit from
the Japanese Cultural Society and Embassy of Japan in Singapore
are awarded to outstanding and top students.

personally at the school's Midland House premises, 112 Middle Road #05-00. Enrolment is strictly
on a first-come-first-served basis. Vacancies are limited. (Opening hours on Sun: 10.00am to 4.00pm.)

REGISTRATION FOR HIGHER-LEVEL COURSE

Qualifying Test
For Intermediate and Advanced courses, applicants are required
to sit and pass the appropriate qualifying test.
The qualifying test is scheduled on 7 December 2011 (Wednesday) at 7.00pm. To register, please call the
registration office at tel: 63383428. Applicant registering to sit for the qualifying test must pay
the prescribed test fee.
Those who pass the test may enroll for admission to a higher
level course on 3 January 2012 (Tuesday). The registration office opens from 2.30pm to 8.00pm on weekdays.
J.L.P.T Certificate
Applicants with Japanese language proficiency certificates
(J.L.P.T) issued by the Japan Foundation may enroll for admission
to a higher level course. The standard of the course levels is as follows:
Intermediate course: (JLPT Level 4 or equivalent)
Advanced I course: (JLPT Level 3 or equivalent)
Advanced II course: (JLPT Level 2 or equivalent)
Further-Advanced course: (JLPT Level 1 or equivalent)
J.L.P.T certificate holders are exempted from
the qualifying test. Please register personally at the school's Midland House premises on 5 January 2012
(Thursday). Registration hours: from 2.30pm to 8.00pm. |
